The owners of this adorable turn of the century farmhouse wanted to replace the outdated screen porch with an addition. Our designers decided to maintain the views and light on the second floor of the original house by installing a full basement under the one story addition instead of a second floor. This gave the family a great informal recreation room below, a sunny family room, and an expanded kitchen. In the future a roof top deck off the master bedroom will be an easy upgrade
